Getting Started

Office 365 gives you access to the full suite of Microsoft Office products like Word and PowerPoint.  Because Office 365 is online it is great for for productivitycollaboration, and presentation .  Microsoft Office 365 also allows for sharing and collaboration on documents and files.

Learning How

1. Access Office365 through OneDrive at www.bcps.org/Onedrive

2. Log in using your BCPS username and password.

3. Click the "+New" button and select the type of file you want to create.  You can create a Word document, Excel workbook, PowerPoint presentation, OneNote notebook, or Excel survey.

4. Once you make your selection the file will open and you can use it just as you would the "traditional" version of that program.  The online versions do offer less features.  To open in the full version of the program click the "Open in..." option at the top of the screen.

5. To name your file click on "Document" and name your document.

6. To share your document select "Share" in the upper right corner.

You can share two ways:

To stop sharing:

7. To return back to your OneDrive or to make another document, select the 9 square icon in the upper left corner.
