Device Care and Use Resources
Directions/Reminders: The PowerPoint files are very large. It is recommended that you download and save the videos ahead of time to avoid waiting for the download to finish. Schools may choose to create a folder on their shared drive and save these PowerPoint videos there for everyone to access. Secondary teachers you may choose to present the PPT as a whole group or allow your students to view as an independent activity. Use the Slideshow File if you want it to be a self-paced independent activity.
Videos from 2014-2015 school year can be found here.
For Revolve users, individual videos and resources for device instruction can still be found on our page Revolve Resource Repository. These resources can be used in conjunction with the lessons or in place of the full lessons.
The track pad and touchscreen work just like a traditional computer mouse but it takes some practice to get used to. Use these resources to help practice navigating the screen using the track pad and touchscreen.
Think about:
Which one is easier for you to use?
Is one better to use than the other when completing certain activities?
