How to Use This Page

Each tool listed in the index below includes:

Resource type designation: Web-based Tools for (S)tudent or Teacher Use, Web-based Tools for only (T)eacher Use, Digital (C)ontent, or (I)nstalled Software
A link to its informational resource page with an overview, tutorials, and lesson application ideas
A direct link to the tool if applicable
Keyword tags based on the services that the tool provides. You may choose to view similarly tagged tools by clicking on any one of the tags or view an Alphabetic list of tags with their descriptions
Approximate Grade level codes that stand for (P)rimary PreK-2, (I)ntermediate 3-5, (M)iddle 6-8, and (H)igh 9-12
Student Data Privacy levels as indicated by the icons below (Note- these icons indicate the level of data sharing when tools are used as described on this wiki. Other uses must be evaluated by the teacher to determine data security compliance.):

Icon	Description
	Level 1 Tool: Tools that are essential to curriculum and are under contract with BCPS.
	Level 2 Tool, no data is shared: Access to this tool does not require any student to share information about themselves.
	Level 2 Tool, non-PII: Student accounts do not require any personally identifiable or directory information.
	Level 2 Tool, directory information only: Student accounts require only directory information or directory information with non-personally identifiable information. Tool may not be used by students whose parents have opted out of sharing directory information.
	Level 2 Tool, directory information with guidance: Student accounts require only directory information or directory information with non-personally identifiable information. Tool may not be used by students whose parents have opted out of sharing directory information. Users must not provide additional information requested by the application.
	Installed Software: Tool is installed on BCPS computers and does not collect any user information.
	Teacher Accounts Only: Tool is either unavailable for student access or requires personally identifiable information beyond directory level to create accounts. Teachers may create their own accounts for instructional purposes.
