Flipgrid is a web-based video discussion platform. Users can participate in video discussions around a topic by recording a response in Flipgrid or uploading a pre-recorded video from another location. Teachers can set recording times for students ranging from 15 seconds up to 5 minutes.
Students do not need account to use Flipgrid. They can access a teacher's grid by entering a code that will allow them to record or upload a response. However, students should only enter their first initial and last name prior to submitting their response in order to comply with BCPS Policy and Rule 5230.
