Getting Started 


Skype is an online video conferencing tool available for free.  Skype allows users to "call" another Skype user and see live video and audio.  Teachers can use Skype to connect with experts around the globe, take virtual field trips, and connect with guest speakers.  Teachers can sign up for an account with Skype in Education to find classrooms and experts to connect with.  Skype in Education also hosts planned virtual field trips year round.  


Skype must be installed by your tech liasion using the download file on the Digital Learning Intranet page.
