Rules to Follow 

Handle all equipment carefully with respect

•  Do not use video production equipment unless you have been properly trained
•  Demonstrate responsible behavior when shooting in the field
•  Stay on task
•  Do not disrupt other classes
•  Follow a schedule in order to complete the project on time
•  Practice each scene before filming
•  Film multiple takes of each scene
•  Return all equipment at the end of every class period

Classroom Management Tips 

•  Prepare a model/sample for students to view in order to set clear expectations
•  Provide students with a rubric on how they will be graded
•  Carefully review student scripts and storyboards before they begin filming
•  Provide clear descriptions of jobs so students know what they are expected to do
